Directions, Driving and Parking 
Parking is usually free in the state parking garages after 6 pm. State Parking Garages can be found next to,
behind and across from Scholz Garten. San Jacinto Blvd., 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, and Trinity have parking garage entrances.

Driving Directions: driving North on IH35:
Traveling North on IH35 you take the exit at 15th.
(This is the same exit for the Erwin Center)
Turn left at the 15th street and drive under the overpass about three blocks staying in the
right lane until Trinity Street. Turn right at Trinity and drive to 18th street (3 blocks) and turn left (oneway) and drive
one block to San Jacinto. Turn left and travel one block to 17th street. Scholz Garten is on your left.
We are at the corner of San Jacinto and 17th street. There are many parking garages or you may park on the street.

Driving Directions: driving South on IH35:
Traveling South on IH35 take the MLK Blvd exit.
(this is the same exit for The University of Texas)
Turn right onto MLK and safely get in the left lane of MLK as soon as possible.
Drive 3 long blocks to San Jacinto Blvd. Turn left and drive two blocks and you will see Scholz Garten
on the left. We are at the corner of San Jacinto and 17th street. There are several parking garages on both sides of the street.

Driving Directions: from Mopac (Loop 1) Driving North
Take the Enfield or 15th street exit. Stay in the right hand lane after crossing Lady Bird Lake (The Old Town Lake).
Turn right at 15th (Enfield) and Mopac (Loop 1).
Driving east on 15th (Enfield), you are heading toward the State Capitol. At Lavaca Street turn left, which is one way
and only one lane. Drive two blocks and turn right on 17th street .
Drive three blocks until you reach San Jacinto Blvd. You are at 17th and San Jacinto Blvd.
Scholz Garten should be in front of you and to your right. Parking garages are on San Jacinto Blvd.
There is also a 17th Street parking garage behind our biergarten (patio).

Driving Directions: from Mopac (Loop 1) Driving South:
Take the Enfield or 15th st. exit. Turn left at 15th (Enfield) and the Mopac overpass,
travel east the toward the State Capitol until you reach Lavaca. Turn left, (one way)
travel two blocks and turn right on 17th street (one way and one lane because of the never ending construction).
Drive three blocks until you reach San Jacinto Blvd.
Scholz Garten should be in front of you and to your right.
Parking garages are on San Jacinto Blvd. There is also a 17th Street parking garage behind our biergarten (patio).
